Terms of Use

Last updated: July 11, 2026

Welcome to The Prompt Vault by ProPrompt. These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and ProPrompt ("we", "us", or "our") governing your use of the website at getproprompt.com and the prompts published there (the "Service"). ProPrompt operates as an independent brand — contact hello@getproprompt.com.

They are written in plain English so you can actually understand what you are agreeing to.

1. The Service is free

Every prompt in the vault is free to browse, copy, and use. There is no account, no login, and no payment — nothing to buy and nothing to subscribe to. You can use the site anonymously.

2. Your licence to use the prompts

You may copy any prompt and use it — for yourself, at work, in your business, and in client projects — including modifying it and using whatever output your AI model generates from it. You do not need to credit us (though it's appreciated).

This freedom is about using the individual prompts. It is not a licence to take the collection itself and turn it into a competing product. Specifically, you may not scrape, bulk-download, resell, or redistribute the vault as a whole or a substantial part of it, or present it as your own prompt library.

3. Intellectual property

The curated prompt collection, the website, its design, text, branding, and the "ProPrompt" name are original works owned by ProPrompt and protected by copyright and other laws. The licence in Section 2 lets you use the prompts and their outputs; it does not transfer ownership of the collection or the site to you. All rights we do not expressly grant are reserved.

4. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that any prompt will produce a particular result, or that the AI outputs you generate will be accurate, complete, or fit for any purpose. You use the prompts and outputs at your own discretion and risk, and should review and verify anything important before relying on it.

5. Regulated topics

Some prompts help you work through legal, financial, tax, medical, security, or other regulated topics. These are tools to help you prepare, organise, and think — for example, to draft questions for your advisor or structure a checklist. They do not provide professional advice, and using them does not create any professional relationship. Before acting on anything in a regulated area, consult a professional qualified and licensed in your jurisdiction.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed USD $50. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law. Because the Service is free, you have not paid us anything for it.

7. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above shows when. We may also change, add, or remove prompts and features at any time. Questions? Email hello@getproprompt.com.
